On September 24, 2009, the United Front Work Department of Shandong Provincial Committee of CPC, Personnel Department and Department of Justice and of Shandong Province, and Shandong Federation of Industry and Commerce held a commending conference in Jinan to grandly reward those who were elected as "Outstanding Builders of the Socialism Cause with Chinese Characteristics of Shandong Province" in the non-public sectors of the economy and law circle. Deputy Secretary of Shandong Provincial Committee of the CPC, Liu We issued Certificates of Honor on behalf of Shandong Provincial People’s Government, and delivered a passionate speech, which fully recognized tremendous contributions made by people in the non-public sectors of the economy and law circle to establishment of a new large and powerful, rich and beautiful Shandong Province. Provincial leaders Wang Suilian, Zhang Chuanlin and Wang Naijing were present at the conference. Liu Wei offered congratulations to commended outstanding builders on behalf of the provincial committee of the CPC and the provincial people’s government, and extended cordial greetings to people in the non-public sectors of the economy and at other new social classes in Shandong Province. He pointed out that, in 60 years since founding of the People's Republic of China, especially the reform and opening up, the non-public sectors of economy had played a significant role in promoting scientific development and social harmony, and people in the non-public sectors of the economy and at other new social classes had gradually improved their quality and made more and more contributions. It was desired that mass people in the non-public sectors of the economy and at other new social classes kept in mind Secretary-general of the CPC, Hu Jintao’s earnest hope to vigorously carry forward outstanding builders’ spirits, e.g. “patriotism”, “dedication”, “integrity”, “law-abiding” and “contribution”, deeply study and practice scientific outlook on development, strengthen ideological and moral cultivation, firmly take the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, continuously make positive efforts to guarantee economic growth, value people’s livelihood and ensure social stability, and strive to be part of the new generation of builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics with political consciousness, economic strength, social influence and contributions to the people. CPC committees, governments and competent authorities at various levels should fully implement principles and policies on united front work of the CPC, unswervingly encourage, support and guide the development of the non-public sectors of the economy, and positively create sound environment for development of the non-public sectors of the economy.
